Who’s this offering for?
Our vision & intent
We welcome folk from all walks of life who are interested in land & cultural reclamation, earth-based lifeways, cultivating listening and practices of reciprocity with the Earth and more-than-human world.
We hope to facilitate a space of reconnection & exploring how we may be in relationship with the Salmon, the waters, the Earth & that which sustains us in a way of beauty, in a way that is honoring of life.
We intend for this to be a deeply prayerful and practical space of learning and remembrance. Weaving with ancient mythology, ecology, ancestral skills & craft, ritual & druidry.
The Salmon’s wellbeing is in our heart of hearts, as we intend to open a space of reconciliation between Salmon and Human - in acknowledgement that this relationship has not been in reciprocity, and has been out of balance for some time. By creating this space of curious exploration, humility and reverence, we hope that this may be a step in a direction to remember what it is to live with this sacred being in a way that supports it’s recovery & bridges that ancient kinship once more.
This is both a celebration of life and an acknowledgment of the ecological disasters that we humans have been creating & continuing for some time. The state of the Salmon is a reflection of this.
May we open our hearts to the deep listening that is required in these times in order to reckon with that which is out of balance, and restore & protect what is good.
